Extra Recess
Who wants to be the class hero? Something every child wants, MORE RECESS! Your child's entire grade will enjoy an extra recess period (30 minutes) during the school day. A special sweet treat will also be included. Date to be determined with the Head of School. Siblings are included, but only one grade will experience the extra recess period.

Does your child ever wonder what it is like to be Meadowbrook's Head of School? Now is the chance to find out! The lucky recipient of this prize will spend an entire day running the school. He or she may choose the lunch menu, attend meetings, lead assembly and decide upon the special Grub Day theme. Whatever is on the agenda, your child will be right in the thick of it for a day!

Dinner at the Castle
An evening for 4 at the tower of Glencairn Museum, former home of Mildred and Raymond Pitcairn, now part of the Bryn Athyn Historic District hosted by Karin and Andrew Pitcairn.
They will offer a 2 hour tour before dinner and a behind the scenes narrative of stories of when the family lived there. Each bedroom of the 90,000 square foot castle is now a collection of artifacts from different periods, ranging from Medieval to Egyptian. Some of the artifacts are on permanent loan to museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A very special evening!
